Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026

EduCafe is operated by Triples Global LLC, a California limited liability company (“EduCafe”, “we”, “us”). By using this platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and the activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account — or at least 16 if you are in the EU/EEA. We verify this with a date-of-birth check at sign-up; the date itself is not stored.

2. Acceptable use

  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated bulk downloads.
  • No uploading content that infringes copyright or violates law.
  • No harassment, hate speech, or content that exploits minors.
  • No interference with platform availability (DoS, flooding, etc.).

3. Content

Instructors retain ownership of course materials they upload and grant EduCafe a non-exclusive license to host, transcode, and deliver that content to enrolled students. Students may not redistribute course content outside the platform.

4. Payments and refunds

Paid courses are billed through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase and before completing more than 30% of the course. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.

5. AI features

Chat, learning packets, and course planning features send your inputs to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or regulated data. AI responses may contain errors; verify important information before acting on it.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduCafe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app banner at least 14 days before taking effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
